Post-Production: The editing process
These before and after photos show how post-production on the original digital files allows me to enhance what is captured through the camera. The processing stage allows for simple adjustments such as exposure, contrast and colour balance. Along with retouching the image to remove dust spots and noise through to more advanced photo-editing techniques to correct perspectives, remove unwanted objects and the addition of suitable skies.
The below images show what can be achieved in the photo editing process (Slide the white progress bar to see full images). The aim on every shoot though, is to get the shot right in camera, and to keep editing to a minimum. So staging the interior or exterior to remove any unwanted objects is always the best option for quality images and the most cost effective.
